With a total of 11 machines on the stand at Lamma and 14 members of the Sumo team available to speak to, there wasn't a dull moment. The stand was constantly busy for the 2 days with current cutomers commenting on the stand, and the build quality of machines exhibited. Potential customers expressed a lot of interest in the 2 new machines on our stand this year, the Versaplus and 2012 Mounted Trio.
This is the first public showing of the All New 2012 Model Mounted Trio, which had it's preview at our Open Days held in November 2011.
The concept of the latest Mounted Trio remains the same but, while the stands and two rows of cutaway discs remain unchanged, every other aspect of the machine has been updated.
Also on show was the evolution of the Versadrill, the Versaplus. Trials and testing will take place in 2012, with a view to production beginning in 2013. As the title suggests, the new drill has been designed with more cultivation elements, making it able to cope with a much wider range of soil types and trash/stubble conditions.
At Sumo we pride ourselves in building innovative machinery and catering for what the customer wants. The All New Mounted Trio 2012 model and Versaplus are clear example of this.
