The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2025 has officially been announced, and it’s a huge opportunity for UK farmers looking to invest in eligible machinery with government support.

What is the FETF 2025 Grant?

Run by DEFRA, the FETF 2025 scheme supports the purchase of equipment that improves agricultural productivity, boosts sustainability, and protects the environment.

Grants will range from £1,000 up to £25,000 per theme, and DEFRA will pay a percentage of the cost of each item, which varies depending on the type of equipment. This means substantial savings for farmers who are ready to upgrade or diversify their operations with the latest technology.

• SUMO Aerator Roller – Eligible under FETF411: Grassland Pasture Aerator
  Designed to improve drainage and stimulate pasture growth.

Key Dates & Why You Should Act Now

The grant application window opens on 29th May 2025, and given the scope and value of the fund, competition is expected to be high.
