Location: Sumo UK, Redgates Melbourne, York, YO42 4RG
Main Purpose of the job:
Quality inspections of all outbound whole goods to support Sumo quality control charter and support Sumo dealer & distributor network by resolution of technical enquiries.
Main Responsibilities:
To verify assembled machinery manufacturing quality at the end of the assembly process and adhering to quality and process standards. Responsible for quality control measurement and assessment to achieve QC sign off. Coordinate directly with manufacturing to rectify any non-conformity. Support dealers and distributors with in field and office based technical support.
Essential skills and knowledge:
- Ability to follow engineering instructions and or technical drawings.
- Comprehensive understanding of the operation of Agricultural Machinery
- Experience with agricultural machinery engineering , hydraulics and electrics circuits
- Follow assembly instructions and or technical drawings, ability to conduct technical measuring & assessing of fabrication & assembly standards.
- Good technical aptitude and willingness to take a hands-on approach
- A strong communicator that can liaise between production, commercial & engineering groups.
- Excellent team player
- Proactive forward thinker that gets the job done
- Provide hands on product technical support on Sumo whole good product
- To provide field and office based technical support
- Promoting customer satisfaction and customer loyalty
- Preparation of concise field technical reports for all visits made
- To support the training activities for the dealer network.
- To assist and monitor technical issue resolution provided to the dealer network.
