Job Title: Territory Manager – South West Region

Location: Sumo UK, Redgates Melbourne, York, YO42 4RG

Main Purpose of the job:

To grow sales revenue in line with the company strategy by providing sales and technical sales support to both dealers and end users

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering forecasted sales
  • Support and development of existing dealers and regular monitoring to ensure agreed sales targets are met
  • Plan and co-ordinate demonstration circuits with existing dealers
  • Provide on the ground sales support to dealers as they generate leads and assist in deal closure
  • To maintain/create strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • To Identify new business opportunities
  • Support Dealers with setting off new machinery
  • Assist in the planning of shows and setting up of shows as required
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensure regular updates are provided to the Head of Sales & Marketing
  • Progress and track orders to ensure customer satisfaction levels are met
  • Set up and attend trade shows and working demonstrations where required
  • Deliver sales and product training to Dealers and internally where required
  • Contribute new product/innovation ideas to improve product offering
  • Maintain and build relationships with Dealer Parts and Service teams ensuring first class service is maintained to the dealers and end users

Essential skills and knowledge:

  • Have a passion for Agriculture and Agricultural machinery
  • Proven Sales and Territory Management Experience
  • An understanding of soil and agronomy
  • Business understanding of the dealer environment
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent Team player
  • Proactive forward thinker
  • Tenacious individual that gets the job done
  • Manage and prioritise own workload
  • Computer literate
  • Full and clean driving licence
