What Does Sumo Do?

Sumo helps farmers lower input costs, improve yields & protect the environment using our range of efficient, British built cultivation and seeding farm machinery. At Sumo HQ we manufacture full machines, from cutting box and plate through to the final assembly process.

Overview of Role:

Sumo UK are looking for fabricators and welders with varied levels of experience to join our fast-paced, high quality manufacturing facility. Applicants must be reliable, safety conscious and have experience in fabrication environments delivering high quality products along with being able to interpret and work from technical drawings. A successful applicant will be trained to our own in-house quality standards and processes, this may include forklift, cranes, jibs and first aid training if the role requires.

Desirable skills and knowledge (however not job dependant):

• Counterbalance Forklift licence
• Overhead crane and jib experience
• Tig welding experience

Working Schedule:

40-hour weeks 8.00am – 16.30pm (Monday – Thursday) 8.00am – 15.15pm (Friday)

Salary:

Negotiable dependant on experience. Overtime available in peak periods. Must be able to provide own transport due to site location.
